How to Pick up Shifts/Jobs
How to claim a job in the GravyWork app:
Click Jobs from the bottom menu.
Click Open Jobs to view all available jobs matching your current skills.
Review the list to find the job you would like to work.
Click the Claim Job button for the applicable job.
Review all the details about the job, including the location, dates, times, uniform, and description.
Click the Claim Job button. The job will then appear in your My Jobs tab.
Every single shift, at the beginning and end you must clock in/out
Clocking in/out begins when you are on site and just about to start working, not sitting in your car on site, etc.
Clocking out begins after you have checked with your superior and are officially good to leave. (Note: Job end times are approximations, you must still first check with your supervisor before clocking out)
Make sure to accurately represent your hours, because dishonestly inputting hours is terms for account deactivation.
The app will allow you to drop a job on the app the same way you claimed a position. It is up to you to follow the time frames before penalizing occurs.
We advise to drop a job 3 days in advance to find a replacement for your slot.
Dropping same day jobs will result in suspension or deactivation.
