📅 Effective March 10, 2026. The Dependability System goes live on Tuesday, March 10th. Your score and violation history will be active from that date.
Please note that No Shows from the past 6 months will be counted — only genuine violations have been included, giving every worker a fair and clean start.
Where Can I Find My Score?
Tap the hamburger menu in the top left of the app. At the top right of that menu, just below your profile picture, you will always see your Dependability Score and status box.
Your score will begin to populate after you have completed 5 shifts. Until then, the box will still be visible so you always know where you stand — and we will be keeping track in the meantime.
What Do the Score Levels Mean?
Your score is based on the number of violations on your account:
Score | What It Means | Violations |
HIGH | You're one of our most dependable workers | 0 violations |
MEDIUM | You've had a minor issue — keep it up from here | 1 violation |
LOW | Your account is at risk — improvement is needed | 2 or more violations |
What Counts as a Violation?
There are two types of violations:
Late Drop
Canceling a shift less than 24 hours before it starts, but more than 2 hours before.
⚠️ No Show — Important Change
Not showing up for a shift — or canceling within 2 hours of the start time.
Please note: Canceling within 2 hours of a shift is now treated the same as a No Show. This is a change from how drops were previously handled.
Late Drop Penalties
Late Drop Count | Penalty |
1 | 7-day suspension |
2 | 14-day suspension |
3 | Suspended until count falls below 3 |
No Show Penalties
No Show Count | Penalty |
1 | 2-week suspension |
2 | 3-week suspension |
3 | Permanent removal |
New workers: If you have a No Show before completing your first 5 shifts, your account will be permanently disabled. Completing your early shifts is how you demonstrate your commitment to the GravyWork community.
What History Is Being Counted?
Late Drops are counted going forward from when the system launches. No Shows look back across your last 6 months of work history to make sure we are recognizing our most dedicated workers fairly from day one.
All records have been carefully reviewed to ensure only genuine violations are included.
Think There’s a Mistake? Appeal It.
If you believe a violation is incorrect, you can appeal it directly from the violation in your profile. The appeal option is available for one week after the violation occurs.
Valid reasons for appeal include medical issues — a doctor’s note will be required. Our team will review each appeal individually.
What’s In It for Dependable Workers?
Workers who maintain a High score have access to more opportunities. When workers with violations are temporarily suspended, more shifts become available to those who consistently show up.
Dependability pays off.
