Getting paid with GravyWork is simple — just follow the payroll schedule and track your earnings in the app.
1. Understanding the Payroll Calendar (Most Important)
GravyWork runs payroll Monday through Sunday, and all approved hours from that week are paid the following Friday.
What this means for you
If you work any time Monday–Sunday, your payment will arrive the next Friday.
Example:
Work a shift on Monday, June 3 → Paid Friday, June 14
Work a shift on Sunday, June 9 → Paid Friday, June 14
2. How Your Shifts Move Through the Earnings Section
After you work a shift, you can track it step-by-step inside the Earnings section of the app.
Pending
When you finish a shift, it first appears under Submitted as New.
This means you submitted your hours and they are waiting for client approval.
Awaiting Payday
Once the client approves your shift, it moves to Awaiting Payday.
Your time is confirmed and approved.
It does not have a payroll date yet — but it will be included in the next payroll run according to the calendar above.
Scheduled for Payment
When payroll drafts are created, your shift receives an official payday date (Friday).
After payment is sent, you’ll see it under your Paid tab.
3. Updating Your Payment Method
If you need to change your bank account or update your information:
Open the Earnings tab in the app.
Tap Edit Payment Details.
You’ll be taken to the payment screen where you can update your bank information.
Make sure your details are correct — incorrect account information may delay your payment.
